WWII era Jazz and radio!

Just as the title says, this is jazz from the World War II era. It's mostly pre-bebop, a lot of big band and a lot of standards. I should say now though, that it's also 57 tracks for $9.99! In additions to the songs, speeches and snippets of radio commentary of the era are interspersed throughout. Because of the roughly chronological track listing, you really get the feeling that you are tuned into a radio somewhere during the middle of the Great War! It's interesting to hear the voices of FDR, Churchill and even Hitler. A time capsule if you will! Highly recommended.
