Relevance and Longevity

Anytime Ultra Nate' releases an album, it is an event! She has had a consistent run of full length releases that have churned out club classics after classics. With her latest release, Hero Worship, she is poised once again to let clubland know that she is not going anywhere!!! This album stands as a testament that an artist can maintain relevance and longevity without compromising what they are truly about. Ultra is about the energy of nightlife and the groove of well-suited melody!! Hero Worship has something for everyone, from pop-style club gems to straight-up twirling in baby powder floor burners. I am truly excited to finally be able to celebrate this release because it will add to the volume of classics Ultra has delivered for 25 years!

Party Album of the Year

This album is a constant party. I was in a convertible, with the top off, blasting "Hey DJ" from this set. While at a stop light, a bunch of teens started 'twerqin'! That was a trip! I love it when music has the ability touch people and make them move spontaneously. Its a widely varied set - She gives fabulous house sounds with tracks like "Waiting On You" and "Right Now", yet ventures into edgy, dubstep territory with Radio and Everybody Loves The Night. Unconditional, Save Me, and My Love will give the dance/pop lovers something to cheer about. Songs like Journey and The Rush have deep lyrics that will touch you, and Nobody Has To Know is very, very sexy. There is a remix package for nearly half of this album, and there is much more to be explored in terms of the wide range of genre's that Ultra crosses with this set. This is becoming my favorite album by Ultra Nate!
