Dave Clark Five Try Too Hard

The title track is one of their best, and it's the start to a pretty strong lp. What amounts to the original Side 1 (tracks 1 - 5) are all great pieces. And, as is typical for a DC5 album, take less than 10 minutes to listen to. This is worth downloading.

Try Too Hard

This is a fairly good album with the exception of "Today" and "Scared of Falling in Love." "Today" is not one of my favorites. I'm also not crazy about the words to "Scared of Falling in Love" although, musically, the song is okay.

If you are not a die-hard DC5 fan, it might be worth downloading tracks 3-5, 7, 8 and 10 since "Try Too Hard" and "Somebody Find a New Love" are on "The History of the Dave Clark Five," assuming that you already have it.

"Lookin In," in my opinion, reminds me a little of the Beatles' style, especially in the ending vocal.
