Nice that Tiesto did something different, but...

He's gone too far.
I like Tiesto going commercial pop better than I like Armin Van Buuren. Tiesto is for pop more than Armin is. But even Tiesto shouldn't have gone this far.
Kaleidoscope was perhaps the best album, half-way between trance and commercial pop house, which I like.
Armin and Tiesto should use the money and public awareness they gained with commercial pop and house to promote trance to make it popular.
This album is better quality than Town Called Paradise, though. That's why I give it a three star.
Get Paul Van Dyk, Sean Tyas, and Talla 2XLC if you want real trance, because they stay true to trance. It seems like the Dutch DJ's are the ones that went commercial pop and house, not the German ones.

Do people still buy this stuff or is it time to start making trance again?

3 songs I picked from the album...

Going commercial or not, Tiësto is slamming beats like crazy to make trends for other djs. Do not listen to the ones who rated the album poorly. Their explanatory remarks on the legend Tiësto may have some truth in them, but that is no reason to move on and even rant on his current works. At least he is trying to adapt to the synthetic beats, bass, upbeats, drops and other electronic sounds to catch up along his fellow or rival djs. No other djs can go from Trance, have a grand mix of other genres and get into house music. Stop hating, people!
