HARD and aggressive BASS

The following review is *MY* opinion only.

Hard Bass is a hardstyle event where four different teams take turns playing different styles of the hard dance genre. This album is split into four different parts, one for each team.

The album starts with the Blue Team (CD 1). This CD has a more "softer" style that can be compared to 'Big Room' House music, except at 150BPM (Beats Per Minute). A big part of the CD has this similar style, which I quickly found stale. But, there were some good tracks towards the end of the Blue Team's compilation. Team Green's compilation (CD 2) starts with a more uplifting sound. With each track, the CD paves way to a more raw sound. There were a good number of different artists in this CD, which I think is a great way of showing what Team Green is all about. Team Yellow (CD 3) starts off their mix hard and finish hard. If you are a fan of raw hardstyle, then Team Yellow's compilation of raw and aggressive tracks will keep you satisfied. Expect minimal amounts of melody, and maximum amounts of hard kicks. Team Red (CD 4) also packs a punch with the raw hardstyle in their compilation. If you love pounding kick drums and nasty screeches, then you just might dig this one as well!

Overall, this album is good for you if you wish to expand your library with up-and-coming artists who deserve some recognition and a few great tracks that have been released in the past year or so. More than half of this album is raw hardstyle. If you're looking for energetic melodies that were present during the "golden age", you might want to look else where.

Nice Melodic Hard Bass

Catchy tracks. More chill than I thought it would be. A little pop but easy to listen to and I liked the vocals.
