The most underappreciated album ever...

This album is the quintessence of ELO. Songs are timeless. To my mind, it's the best execution of a concept album ever achieved. Truly a work of genius, worthy of a much better Album Review than the crappy one presented here.

TIME was one of their very BEST

As a young man, I went with my father to see ELO in concert with their TIME album. I do believe the 'ol man had as much fun as I !!!
An awesome album, performance and truly a time in music. Jeff Lynne and ELO carried 'Rock and Roll' through the seventies and defined the electronic and classic blend for two decades. Each track represents artistry. Before this album and well after, enjoy the music of the musical master Jeff Lynne.
If you love music, if you have enjoyed music in the last forty years, if you like 'rock and roll,' enjoy this album. Jeff Lynne's music will be played for decades and decades to come.

I wish I was back in 1981...

The pinnacle of Jeff Lynne's many great musical achievements. This is one of the 10 all time classic albums I would take on a deserted island. Completely under-appreciated as demonstrated by the lame review, probably by some millennial intern that once heard "Hold on Tight" on his daddy's CD player. "Time" is timeless, the lyrics written with future listening in mind. It's ingenious and comparable to any of the great concept albums by Alan Parsons or Pink Floyd of the same era. " is this the way life's meant to be". Amen ELO!
