Great album!

This is a great worship album that definitely captures the live sound, while also presenting a very professional recording with top-notch instrumentalists and vocalists. The instrumentation, arrangements, and song choices are wonderful. Check it out!

Some outstanding songs

This is a pretty amazing worship compilation with a powerful story behind it. It is wonderful to hear these songs of joy and confidence in God's grace and goodness knowing that this church has been willing to count the cost and give up much for the Gospel. (This church has lost all of its buildings, and millions of dollars because of its willingness to take a stand for orthodox Christian faith and teaching, in opposition to the Episcopal Church hierachy. This album was recorded just a few weeks prior to the congregation's forced departure from their 237 year old church home.)

I particularly loved the first two tracks and the use of the organ on Praise My Soul the King of Heaven. I would have enjoyed hearing a bit more of the organ and more varied instruments throughout. The electric guitars overwhelm somewhat. But that's a minor quibble.

The other standouts are Here is Love (an arrangement I was not familiar with, which brought this old Graham Kendrick standby alive in a fresh way), Come Ye Sinners, (an original song written by Falls Church's worship leader), and an adaptation of the classic hymn Come Thou Fount, with some new verses I'd not heard before.

Very worth the investment.
