a better second album

Evil Nine have a pretty unique style and I wondered as I anticipated "They Live" if they would change from their big beats and pieces. But, why should they.....they are the masters of the recent big beat, guitar laden, electro coming out of England. "They Live" is bigger, harder, bassier, catchier and pounds and kerrranggs like nothing else. There is so much cross-over here... not alone for electro fans but for rock and hip-hop fans. All the tracks are great..... but the zenith (and cresendo) is "Icicles". Other outstanding tracks are: Luke Goss, Twist the Knife, Set it Off but as previously stated, they are all great. The remixes to come will have alot to live up to.

Evil Nine hits it hard...

Years ago, I started following these guys when "Crooked" busted from out of nowhere. Ever since then they've shown nothing but talent and dedication -- not to mention their music is loaded with fun and spirit. This album has them touching on some of the sounds touched by the new French sound, but not so much because they're breaking the crest of that wave, but utilizing to embrace to 80's horror soundtrack kick that partially inspired it. An awesome album without the touch and go. Solid and heavy all the way through. Way to go guys!
