A Very Pleasant Surprise

I saw this band play their EP in full on the Metal Alliance Tour when they came to SF. They were the first act but I decided to watch them anyways and am I glad I did! They gave me chills and made my jaw drop. The lead singer looked me directly in the eyes as he would unleash his unearthly screams. Their live performances are truly amazing! This album is going to be a masterpiece I guarantee it!

solid and refreshing

This is good stuff, the reason being that it is not re-hashed and boring. There are many elements to the music, including melodic death, melodic doom, technical death and a little bit of progressive metal as well. The guitars and drums are absolutely razor sharp and technical when they want to be, but melodic and beautiful when they need to be. There are a lot of tempo changes in the songs as well, which keeps them interesting. The vocals range from death screams to very good mid pitch clean vocals that convey tons of emotion without sounding whiny or bombastic. These guys have a ton of promise, and this is a great album for anyone who likes any of the music listed above. Listen to the samples and decide for yourself.
