EDITORS’ NOTES

Nashville singer/songwriter Ben Rector hit a welcoming groove in his fifth album, inspired by the whispered intimacy of Paul Simon (“Making Money”) and the warmth of Jack Johnson (“Thank God for the Summertime”). There are also moments of reverberant rock (“Beautiful”) to give full flight to his tremulous, powerful voice.

Ben Rector rocks!

Just a very happy development having a new Ben Rector release on the not-too-distant future. The man sings with conviction, honesty, truth, and a everyman understanding of the human condition. He is also a man of many talents, as his video version of Whitney Houston's "I want to dance with somebody" will attest. Just a great artist!

Wonderful and Inspiring

Ben Rector has such a strong voice. I love his lyrics, musicality and melodies. What a refreshing artist to come about. Most music sounds the same and to have a nice new male artist gives me such joy! Plus he isn't bad to look at!
