18 Songs, 58 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

Led by vocalist Jonny Hawkins, San Antonio’s Nothing More play active, radio-friendly rock with big commercial hooks. On The Stories We Tell Ourselves, songs like “Let ’em Burn,” “The Great Divorce,” and the anthemic “Go to War” combine progressive nu-metal riffs with electronic adornment and a definite pop sensibility. “Ripping Me Apart” rides an angular, Rage Against the Machine-style groove into the hip-hop beats and hard funk of “Don’t Stop,” while closer “Fadein/Fadeout” examines the cycle of life and death with soaring choruses.

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics. Mastered for iTunes

Interesting

It's pretty obvious that we aren't re-treading the path that their last album made. Right off the bat they are showing their diversity and bringing us music we don't expect (Don't Stop sounds unlike anything they've done). I can't wait to hear this new energetic sound!

Just saw them LIVE!!!!

So I admit, I didn’t listen to their latest album before going to the show. This whole album rocks and it’s my new workout Jam! “Do you really want it?” is my favorite so far. They put on an amazing set at BFD in Dallas last Saturday night!!!
