Editors’ Notes Daley has always been an honest, intimate sort, but the soulful Brit steps it up with his second album, a moody R&B confessional that seamlessly weaves together tender slow jams (“The Only One”), lush, old-school ballads (Jill Scott collab “Until the Pain Is Gone”), and homages to ‘90s grooves (“Second To None”). But, crucially, he’s not afraid to bring the party, with the funky, slick bass of “Slow Burn” and the electronic funk of “On Fire” showcasing his lighter side.
