One Of the Best Albums In the Pikes Series

Buckethead has made as of this review, 249 albums. One of these albums happens to be The Silent Picture Book, his 40th album. I've listened to this entire album, and it is a pretty good one, in fact. Favorite tracks: Dweller by the Dark Stream, Flea Market, Beam of Omega. Overall this album gets a 8/10. I recommend you to get it.

BH is a powerhouse!!

How does he do it? TEN albums in 2 years. Buckethead Pikes is a true wonder to behold with masterpiece after masterpiece. This album as number 10 in the series (which I hope he continues) is one of my favorites with groove after groove, powerfull statement after statement.
Do yoursefl a favor people, give it a try - put the headphones on - turn it up - way up - and listen to every note, every riff, every turn, every emotion.
I have NEVER heard any guitarist put the energy and emotion and the purre passion of his craft as Buckethead does.
There is nO guitarist alive today or form the past that has the range, the talent, the confidence, the creativity - that BH has.
PURE 5 stars. Buy it!!

As always, Buckethead didn't disappoint!

This has to be my favorite out of the latest 3 Pikes he has released. All but 2 songs in my mind were FANTASTIC. Dweller By The Dark Stream, merging into Blind Cyclops, to Flea Market was amazing.
Beam Of Omega streaming through Whirlibird and Ropelight; SENSATIONAL. Truly senstational. Especially the last halves of Whirlibird and Ropelight where, next to the amazig guitar playing, actually had very nice drums to back it up.
And finishing the album Melting Man 2? That song is simply sublime. I've always have been a fan of his longer songs, and have always wished most of his songs would stream on and on the way Look Up There did. But getting a 6 minute song like Melting Man from this, and a nearly 8 minute song The Patrolman from Racks was simply a treat, and the icing on top of these very amazing musical cakes.
