If Animal Collective Continued With The Sound of Sung Tongs

I first heard The Ruby Suns when my friend got a leak of their new cd and loved it immediately...it reminded me of Animal Collecetive from Sung Tongs and Grizzly Bear put together, a combination bound to make me love them. The best song is Maasai Mara...it is so upbeat and ethereal. I truly believe that The Ruby Suns is a band to watch in 2008

This really can grow on you if you like to float away into Mellow Land!

I love the Ruby Suns now. Their Myspace page drew me in. Then I bought their cd. After listening to the cd I first only liked 5 songs but after a while I realized that I loved 9 of the 13 songs! This is probably because at first I only liked parts of the other songs, but before I knew it they all won me over! The order of the songs blend nicely together as well. Im not an expert at music but this stuff allows me to just float away. The only thing that upsets me about The Ruby Suns is that they dont put their other cds for sale on ITUNES!!! Sea Lion is the next album i want to buy but where?!!!

amazing doesnt even begin to describe

i have always been a fan of alternative, but i have been getting dissappointed as pop and alternative become more closely related. The Ruby Suns really stand out because of their creativity in both the entire album and the individual songs. I think they have come up with an amazing album that never gets old to listen to
