We lost Heaney but not his voice, thanks be.

Whoever thought of making this album did a great service to literature & music. Heaney captures the way it was agus sometimes still is & O'Flynn gets more out of the pipes than anyone who still plays, with the possible exception of Paddy Maloney.

Seamus Heaney is brilliant.

It is a pure shame that more people aren't digging in to the works of Seamus Heaney. His experiences and poems are at once personal and universal. We are lucky to be living during the same age as this gifted poet. What a voice has he!
