EDITORS’ NOTES

Chevelle heads deeper into the desert with producer Joe Barresi, whose work with Tool and Queens of the Stone Age could be felt all over the alt-metal band's previous two albums. Their riff-heavy assault melts paint off the walls as frontman Pete Loeffler hits the full-throated redline on “Enemies” and “Young Wicked.”

OH YASSSSS!!!!

Cannot possibly see how it will be better than La Gargola, but dam sure hope it is!!! Was riding from Vancouver to Abbotsford the first time I heard Gargola the day it was released and still haven't heard anything to compare. Best rock album I've heard this millennium hands down. Here's hoping this one has the same mojo. Loving the Chevelle joyride so far I this one. Can't wait for July 8!
