emergency room metal

As if the current state of affairs in this country isn’t enough to make you want to break someone’s neck and stomp on their head, along comes Unearth with a new CD of violence inducing, mosh pit metal. This disc is so brutal, insurance companies should make applicants disclose that they own it prior to offering coverage. It’s said that every election year has an “October surprise” that shakes things up; this could be it. Expect riots in the streets, mob rule, and looting: okay maybe not, but I’m sure it will be responsible for at least a couple emergency room visits.

The Best Metal Release of 2008?

I have been hooked on Unearth since 2004's "The Oncoming Storm." After hearing the tracks 'The Great Dividers' and 'Endless' from that album, I knew that Unearth was something special. I purchased 2006's "III: In the Eyes of Fire," and loved every minute of that amazing album. And to think that Unearth did it again, their eponymous album, "The March" is fantastic, there is no other way to say it. Every second of this album sends chills up and down my spine and puts goosebumps all over my body. This is the album that you want blasting when your working out, this is the album you want blasting when your driving around, this is the album that you want, period. Purchase this album and enjoy all the breakdowns, all the ferocity, but above all, the supreme musicianship that Unearth encompasses. Please, support music, either purchase this album from your local CD distributor, or pick it up right now, either way, enjoy it, because this band, Unearth, are the present and the future of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal. Love it, enjoy it, blast it at all costs, and while its playing, headbang and jump around, because when those signature Unearth breakdowns kick in, there is nothing else that you want to do.
