Epic, Worth a great listen through

We waited and it finally came The Lamb Lies Down is the fifth studio release from Genesis (Sadly the last one with Peter Gabriel), it is one of the best and defining albums of the Progressive rock genre. The singles are amazing along with the rest of the album and the sound pulls you in, lusting for more (maybe not for you, but yes for me). The concept is a bit confusing at times and it may take you a few listens to appreciate it, but it’s well worth it. Great album, it’s sad theirs very few artists who make art like this album today.

The Holy Grail

The wait is over. Perhaps the greatest piece of music ever recorded. This album must be listened to several times to appreciate the genius of Genesis and particularly, Gabriel.

This is real music ,

A masterpiece!!!!!

It's finally here!!!!! I thought this album would never hit iTunes. I'm so glad it finally did.

The record itself is a work of genius. It's probably not a record people get straight away. Everyone I've talked to that loves this album says it took them a few listens. I am no exception.
That being said, every single second of this album is masterful. The seemingly quiet, "boring" moments help build on the atmosphere. It really soaks you into its dark, surreal, haunting, unsettling, mysterious journey. It's an album you can completely get lost in.

Yes, it's long. But once you let yourself be taken away on its journey, you won't want to leave. If you don't like it at first, that's fine. But don't toss it away before giving it a few tries first. It really is a masterpiece. Very different from anything Genesis ever did. It's extremely ambitious. It's a work of art, and I'm glad I can finally upload it to my phone.
