Unabashedly Assertive and Awesome

I had no idea how much I needed this album until I listened to it on release day. I'm a long-time fan of T Bone, so this was an immediate-purchase. No regrets. A fantastically atmospheric album dripping with the tensions we're living through in this second decade of the 21st century. A very relevant, reflective album of who we are right now in this moment of time. Strong, tough, dark, and beautiful production here. Top notch -- and unabashedly assertive in its subjective viewpoints. I do adore this release.

My Life in the Bush of T-Bone

Love It. Was Not Was meets Joy Division meets Byrne and Eno. Not for everyone, but definitely for me.

I’m Here For All of This!

As an artist who writes and produces my own music, and couldn’t see myself letting anyone else make artistic decisions for my expression, I can saying 100% that T-Bone Burnett is the exception. I’ve loved everything I have heard that he has produced (not to be confused with me having heard everything, just what I have heard). This is just solidified that belief in his production and style taste heavily aligning with my own. Very happy to have this be the first album of his I have bought (whereas the others were albums/soundtracks he produced of other artist). Thanks for doing you that way you do you. Inspiration.
