Having been a Neal Morse/Transatlantic fan for several years, I became familiar with Eric through his contributions to the last Neal Morse band album, The Grand Experiment. Listening to this album, I get the sense that I'm listening to someone who is being mentored by Mr. Morse. Especially the 19 minute track entitled "Escape".
There is a sense of foreboding and longing on these tracks, as well as a lot of hope for salvation. Great guitar work, and all great musicians backing it up. Get it.

If this is where Eric is heading,Prog metal is certainly in good hands when Dream Theater retires. Excellent second album!!! I hope for many many more albums to come.

Get to know E.G. One of the best multi-instrumental musicians today!

This is Eric's 2nd album and a hidden gem released in 2016. Hard rock, heavy prog, guitar virtuoso, strong vocals, epic that leaves you wanting more, and writing from a talented multi-instrumental musician. "Escape" is among the best (if not, maybe the best) prog epic to be released last year. Yes, Eric is known for his strong contributions to the Neal Morse Band's last two albums, but don't miss out on his solo efforts.
