Mr. Swords ,

Familiar, yet Original, while still Excellent

Ringing with the heart of James Horner's "Braveheart" and the flair of Marc Streitenfeld's 2010 "Robin Hood", "The Eagle" earns at least the 48ish minutes it takes to play the album. Without a doubt, the top track on here would be "The Return of the Eagle", with enough strings and pipes to take anyone away from the pattern's of life and to somewhere not found everyday. At least for about three minutes. "I Will Return" is, in a way, a more somber yet arousing take on "Return" that is just as worth of your time."Testudo" gives an entirely different taste with a perfectly eerie and mysterious feel at the beginning, while later coming into an epic crescendo with unabashed string leading the charge. In short, this album keeps the deep roots of Celtic music alive and strong through out most of the album, while still bringing in it's own appealing and brilliant style.

A exceptionally terrific soundtrack that really ties the movie together. Set the perfect tone!
