Cool Soundtrack from an Uncool movie

This soundtrack is a compilation of techno songs from the early ninties
that are featured in the 1992 movie "Cool World." Though in my honest
opinion the movie itself could've been better, whereas the soundtrack
itself did much better then the movie did.

The sounds on this album are still fresh and worth a good listen, even by
today's standards. To be honest I never listened to anything else Techno
related since "The Matrix's" soundtrack. I say if you like this kind of music
but never saw the movie before, then get the soundtrack now.

Nice Sampler

While these songs don't necessarily relate to the movie [other than the title track], they function well as an introduction to Industrial music on the dance floor. The standout tracks are "Play With Me" and the instrumental "Industry and Seduction". I'd never heard of My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult before this, and i'm glad i did. For what it's worth, the "theme song" of the movie is not on this album - look for "The Devil Does Drugs", also by My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult.

Horrible Film…Amazing Soundtrack!!!!

It can be one of life’s greatest mysteries…how can a train wreck of a film have such an amazing soundtrack? Obviously someone was a young raver who got to hand pick from,at that time esp, the head of the pack techno music that still holds up to today. By far the CULT’s greatest song…and even the sophomore Bowie song isn’t a track skipper. From Thrill Kill to FSOL and a real gem from Brian Eno himself, def worth the purchase. Next is the ‘E’…wink wink!
