Bullet for My Valentine come out swinging on their fourth studio album, Temper Temper. Opening song "Breaking Point" commences with an ear-splitting scream before segueing into a revenge-promising hard-rock juggernaut laden with fancy fretwork. The rest of Temper Temper finds the Welsh band in fine, moody form: "Dirty Little Secret" hews toward knives-out metallic barbs, the title track is a chugging riff-fest that scorches like lava, and the mournful power ballad "Dead to the World" crests into a tangle of headbang-worthy heavy metal moves.
