Pete Shelley is so musically creative. Excellent album.

Best Solo Album from Buzzcocks Shelley

This is a great synthpop album, one of the best from the 1980's. There are a bunch of standout tracks, especially "(Millions of People) No One Like You" and "Telephone Operator". It's different than the Buzzcocks sound, but it's great nonetheless.

This cassette tape actually contained a video graphic element that would display visualization that was synchronized to the music. Pete worked with a programmer back in the late 70's after the buzzcocks to come up with this technique. This album was ahead of its time in the day.
