Nadia Boulanger was a legendary French composition teacher with an extraordinary legacy of pupils. Among those passing through her Paris classes during the mid-20th century were neoclassical French composer Jean Françaix, American great Aaron Copland, and even acclaimed producer/arranger Quincy Jones. Boulanger’s genius was helping each of her pupils develop their own individual style, showcased on this wonderful album of original works and arrangements.
