After perfecting their signature fusion of soft pop and traditional Celtic tunes, Irish quartet The Corrs were ready to retrofit their folksy, fiddle-enhanced sound to fill stadiums. For their sophomore album, they recruited Glen Ballard (known for producing Alanis Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill) to reshape their sweet, jangly tunes into soaring anthems. That collaboration yielded gold: Buoyed by the kicky guitars and airy harmonies of “So Young” and “What Can I Do,” Talk On Corners cemented the group’s star status.
