A love letter…

This collection is a love letter from the future, from a time when the future was something to look forward to. Every song is elegantly composed, articulately recorded, and absolutely addicting to listen to. The pieces are more than catchy, they are subconscious messages transmitted from a deep space outpost. Set it on repeat — an optimistic message that transcends space and time itself. I have a roll of quarters waiting for the next release. In the meantime, my playlist is spiked with this one.

I think I'm in love.

Linked from Reddit, and then I fell hard. I can't stop listening to this album. The pseudo-eighties/nineties futurism tickles me just right, and my mind fills in the story hinted at through the music. You can feel the love that went into this album, and it hits you right where it counts. I'll be following Starcadian's music and amazing videos closely, and buying it all!

Nostalgic Yet New

Sunset Blood does many things. And it does them quite well. It beautifully captures the crisp sound of the 1980's while still managing to sound fresh with newer electronic styles seemlessly woven into almost every track. The entire album handles itself like a movie score. With highs and lows and instrumental songs mixed in Sunset Blood is a synergy of all that is great of electronic music, be it from the 80's or the 2010's. If this is the future of electronic music then I'm all for it.
