Summer (Remixes) - EP

Like its titular season, the gigantic synth hook on Calvin Harris' "Summer" is bright, epic, and over too quickly; it arguably overshadows Harris' coy vocal contribution (his first since the monster hit "Feel So Close"). Subversive as always, Diplo and Grandtheft toy with those synths on their remix, flanking them with a sinister trap beat. R3hab & Ummet split the difference, slicing a trance version of the song up with a monster sawtooth wave. Finally, twoloud extend the track with bigger crescendos, since it's widely known that EDM crescendos can never be big enough.
