Elsewhere, like on “I Was Cappin,” he brings a humor and lightness to tales of grinding away on the streets, cooking up quotable metaphors to illustrate how the gig has changed, but the purpose remains the same: “You talkin’ money, you speakin’ my language/I don’t need Rosetta,” he raps.
