A great Viennese compilation.

If you're learning ballroom dance, particularly any of the waltzes, you'd know that finding suitable music to practice is not readily available. With this album, Strictly Viennese Waltz, you not only get fourteen fabulous compositions to learn to, but you get songs that you quickly realize you're very familiar with. (Think Looney Tunes.) You got the Blue Danube, Morning Journals, Voices of Spring, Tales from the Vienna Woods, and more. While humming the tunes, you can't help but smile as you get dizzy from your turns around the dance floor.

I have yet to try others in the Strictly line, but I have a feeling that if Strictly Viennese is any indication of how the others rack up, I will soon be purchasing the rest of the compilations as my dancing portfolio expands.

And at four dollars a pop, what have you got to lose?

Great Practice Music

This album is a good set of practice music for anyone aspiring to increase their Viennese dance skills. The BPM range from 170 to 190, which is kind of fast for a beginner, but the music is well played and recorded. I use it to practice with my partner, and we've been getting very good. The price is unbeatable for such a little gem.
