One of the best odd black metal albums

While not a thoroughly fulfilling as Black Shining Leather, Strange Old Brew is an interesting journey into the warped sense of reality Carpathian Forest has apparently adopted. From the straightforward, absolutely captivating loudness of "Bloodcleansing", the northern gore-flick worship sentiment of "Theme From Nekromantikk", to the balls-to-the-wall/fists-to-the-air attitude with "He's Turning Blue", this is an album that is garaunteed to entertain for years to come, as it has with me. Some of the pummeling production qualities might be an issue, but my best recommendation is to turn down your headphones a hair as you listen to it, and as with all classic black metal recordings, when has that ever been an issue in the first place?

This album is amazing

Although not well known within the scene, this album is one of my favorite black metal albums. Definately Carpathian Forests best release.
