More please.....

The Zombies have totally knocked it out of the park on this one. They not only sound incredible on their new CD but they also sound incredible LIVE in concert.

I recently had the great pleasure of hearing them perform a variety of tracks from 'Still Got That Hunger' in concert and it was a truly unbelievable show. Jaw dropping performances from the entire band. Colin Blunstone, Rod Argent, Tom Toomey, Jim Rodford and Steve Rodford are all world class musicians.

We can only hope that this legendary band has another CD planned in the very near future AND that they will continue to tour for many years to come .

Nothing to prove

Now, at this point I'm only going by the first single, and the ark of the bands last few releases since reuniting, but this is the sound of a band on the very top of their game with absolutely nothing to prove. There's no selling out – no pandering to radio – no pandering to their France. Just excellent writing and musicianship, and doing what they do best. I'm so excited to hear the rest of the CD – and I'm so glad that the zombies reunited!

See them

Saw The Zombies last night at the Wilbur in Boston. Amazing show. They played all of Od & Oracle in the second set with Chris White and Hugh Grundy. The first set featured tracks from Still Got the Hunger and other songs from their back pages, including a volcanic version of Hold Your Head Up. The new songs worked beautifully and I bought an autographed copy of the cd before the show. They are performing for the love of the music and it showed in their joy onstage. Get this and see them.
