EDITORS’ NOTES

East Coast and West Coast sensibilities collide on this collaboration between rapper Crooked I, a.k.a. KXNG Crooked, and producer Statik Selektah. “If I told you my life story, man, your stomach would vomit,” says the former over a G-funk arrangement on “Everybody Knows.” Crooked then details how far he has come over Statik’s smoothed-out, jazzy keyboards on “Dead or in Jail,” while a sunshine-pop loop powers “Good Gone Bad.” It’s the brittle drum samples and tough-minded lyrics, though, that really mark this excursion in real hip-hop.

Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics.

Great album

Where's glasshouse though?

Pure hip-hop. Powerful duo.

KXNG CROOKED delivers hard bars and Statik Selektah delivers classic beats. If you're a hip-hop fan, you won't be disappointed.

Great Album...one complaint

My only complaint with this album...I want MORE! Kxng Crooked & Statik Selektah both do what you expect from them, great hip-hop. I wish it were longer, but love the album. I hope they team up again for a part 2.
