Ludacris’ fourth album finds the Atlanta rapper dropping some of his slickest bars and most bristly boasts yet. On tracks like “P - Poppin’” and “Hip Hop Quotables,” he rhymes over smoky, bass-heavy pimp-funk beats, while the raucous “Blow It Out” is a Southern-fried trunk-rattler. “Stand Up,” meanwhile, is one of his career highlights, as Luda unleashes hell and furiously fires off his trademark one-liners over a punishingly hard club beat from coproducer Kanye West.
