Lovely Example of Neo Symphonic prog

Comedy of Errors come into their own on their third album – simultaneously a tribute to, and great example of, classic symphonic prog. The usual echoes of earlier bands are there (Genesis, Yes, Camel, Renaissance), but it’s all so lovingly put together – with a fantastic sense of rhythm and melody – that it would be churlish to bring up comparisons.

Been looking forward to this one for sometime now. Definitely much different from their previous efforts. A lot of good parts but really needs quite a few listens to get into it fully. No epic power tracks on this one which is where it falls a little short for me. When listening, and the song’s climax comes I feel like it just comes to an end when I need more like in such tracks as THE CAUSE or THE ANSWER from Fanfare. That being said I just love COE style of music and can hear them constantly.
Nice job!! Any COE fan would like this but don’t expect the epic 9 plus minute tracks here.
