Hiromi has exceeded her previous albums with this. Although "Love and Laughter" is a simple cliche jazz song, every other peice boasts unheard creativity unseen in most contemporary jazz. Each track contains its own personality, especially the title track. The 3 piece orchestra suite is fantastic, and a new, but VERY pleasing, event by Hiromi. Each track gives the image of the trio playing it live. Hiromi is at it agian.

Consistently Incredible

Hiromi Uehara composes on the spot, as opposed to improvising. Every show is a tanscendental experience, and this album captures that experience as well as her last two recorded ventures. The live experience of seeing this girl play is next level, though. Don't miss out one of the brightest minds in modern jazz. Her first album went gold while she was still in school! I mean, who does that?

I just love this album, I keep listening to it over and over again. Truly great. Her technical skill is only eclipsed by her feeling.
