Where have all the musicians gone ?

These guys were truly virtuosos, all of them. I remember hearing this album shortly after its release and it floored me. These guys were in a league of their own and today I still feel that this group doesn’t receive the recognition that they truly deserve. I own Fragile but I’m purchasing Fragile Deluxe simply ibecause it has Amerika on it. I’ve read by quite a few reviewers that the Simon & Garfunkel’ arrangement is superior to what Yes hears in it. To each his own but I’m certainly not on that bandwagon. That song belongs to Yes, hands down. Yes takes that song, shreds it with their far superior musicianship and proceeds to take it to the outer limits. Back then the boys were on the top of their game creatively along with their superior gifts of music.

A TRUE CLASSIC

Now heres an example of truely magnificent musicians that display a real developmental progressive and inventive style with layers of virtuosity. They arrange their layers to give a complex yet cohesive tightness that are so incredible it literally confounds the normal listening of music. Real and true mind-blowing. Yes transitions its mood from one to another in such abrupt directions the muisc fan goes on such a journey that one is mesmerized

Best LP

I personally think this is their best studio LP. Love South Side of the Sky. Played it YEARS ago on my college radio station. Wasn't main stream but was cool. Jeff in NY.
