Different

Meg Myers has been the most pleasant music discovery I've made within the last 5 years. From the first time I heard "Desire" to seeing her perform live, she continues to amaze me. She is definitely bringing something different to the music industry. See you in November, Meg!

Her work is just incredible.

Looking forward to Meg's debut album. Love all her past projects. They're great and this will be no different.

Where is the Grammy for this?

I'll be honest, I had no idea Meg Myers existed until Hayley Williams tweeted about the song "Lemon Eyes." But as soon as I gave the song one listen, I bought the whole album and instantly became a fan. For about a week now this has been on repeat nonstop, with nothing in between and I have not even come close to getting bored with it.

So long has it been since I've discovered an Artist that seems to write music not to be known, or get rich but because it is what they are passionate about. And after listening to this a few times I could tell that "Sorry" along with her other work is a reflection of what is on Meg Myer's heart. That is what music is all about, emotion.

It really is disappointing that empty and lifeless pop music nowadays gets all the recognition and awards instead of true art. So where is the Grammy? Hate to break it to you but it probably will go to something else even though this album and Meg completely deserve it. But they don't need it. You don't need awards and mainstream airtime to recognize something great. Thank you Meg for creating something original and putting your heart into every word written and chord played in your writing. You are hope that there is still real music out there.

TL/DR: This album is amazing. Buy it.
