Solid

Another solid album by strung out. Not one of their best but good and all the way through and enjoyable. Fast and well done.

To address the change: Jordan is top 3 favorite drummer of all time so to see him go was tough. I really like the new drummer; he came in with speed, aggression and good drumming. All and all really good first album. He really threw the kitchen sink at it. I miss Jordan unique twists but very well done.

Amazing!

Strung Out has put out another awesome album. I can’t stop playing it. There’s nothing like a solid punk album that rips from start to finish.

Strange Notes

I remember the first day I played Another Day in Paradise in my car, '95. The metal/punk fusion style of that album stood technically far above any other punk album I had. Jason's distinct voice standing out, and the exceptional drumming. Then came STWB and TBD, which completely blew my mind and remain without equal. This new drummer is incredible, not only to be able to play what Jordon Burns played, but to hit even harder and faster. The sound is so raw, absolutely love it. My one star docker is the song writing is a little recycled ... angels, spirits and california, not relatable for me personally. Too metaphorical, we do this, we are that. Also, call me old, but I can't tell what Jason is singing at times, I'd rather lyrics be articulated clearly. Metallica yells, but you hear every word. I suppose that's the thrash/core I'm not as keen on. Strange Notes is absolutely insane in the best possible way. Monuments, Hammer Down, too. Thank You Strung Out for the enduring innovation! Loving this fusion of your past, present and future. I appreciate everything you do.
