Timeless Songstress

Oddly enough as a music lover, I hardly ever write reviews on Itunes, but since the passing of Dolores yesterday...I felt it appropriate. The Cranberries helped shape the music of the 90's and became the theme of transitioning from adolesence to Adulthood for many of us. Even with her passing, their music will still echo and live on and continue to help make memories for us. RIP...you will be missed.

A Stellar Return!

The Cranberries have never sounded better on this album. This isn't just a 'lazy reworkings of old songs for profit' album. The new arrangements with the orchestra are carefully constructed and reimagined. Each song is treated with such attention to musical detail and emotional context. The vulnerability and power in Dolores's voice is stunning.
New songs "Why" and "The Glory" are amongst their best and sit comfortably next to the hits!

Acoustic. Sweet

Finally an album I can get behind. So much happened in my life during the initial release of this album. Brings back memories. And I love acoustic stuff. Granted I play acoustic guitar. Lol.
