High-Tides and Times

This is amazing, it arches up your back to galactical depths, while making your head spin like a whale's fin. You'll want to invite all your friends over to have a listening party and spread the word of their raw acute regard for the modernity in making music. The beats are smoothly lit from one piece to the next, you would think a fanfare would be making cinematic attempts to construe every song's emotion. BSBD's identity is of consistent spellbounding depth and diversity. They make amazing beats for Yes Alexander's debut album. Don't go away without purchasing this.

Steady Beats, Regular Rotation.

Another brilliant album from hip hop producing duo Blue Sky Black Death. This time joined by vocalist Yes Alexander, Kingston and Young God blend their always unique style of drum beats and assorted random instruments to join the subdued hypnotic tone of Yes' voice. These guys are very good, and this album... let's just say it will find it's way into the regular rotation. This band gets regular play on my list along with fellow SF musical genius' Scissors for Lefty and the pioneers of experimental ambient rock, Radiohead.

These songs feel like they belong on the soundtrack to the fictitious movie based on my life and would undoubtedly play as I drive in slow motion up the 101 freeway. The blue and gold California backdrop blurs in the background as something is noticeably different about my character. windows are down, hair is blowing, I feel good. I am changed, and BSBD has changed me.

Roll credits.
