The staggering second (generously tracklisted) EP by Irish-American producer Bonzai shows off her diverse talents, aided by John Calvert, Royce Wood Junior and Mura Masa. Her strange, elemental arrangements flicker from subaqueous bass to artillery gunfire, while she can rap as hard as they come (“Ravemeister”), croon like Aaliyah (“Lights On”), and weave captivating vocal performances as rhythmic as they are fluid—in particular on standout “Kassi”. Her confidence is addictive: “I know that you're under pressure/I got the key, tho', to make you feel better,” she declares on “No Rest”.
