Fronted by singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez, the fathers of So Cal punk-infused reggae add a catchy, collaborative chapter to their catalog with Sirens. There’s still plenty of edge in a the album’s heaviest tunes (“Put Down Your Weapon,” “Best of Me”), but the majority of Sirens is filled with good-natured party anthems. Ramirez adds lots of character to Sirens’s buoyant melodies, adding effortless charm to “Wherever You Go” and the aptly named “House Party."
