EDITORS’ NOTES

Backstreet Boys were poised for superstardom at the end of the ‘90s, and the confections of Millennium launched them into the boy-band pop stratosphere. The lush yet longing “I Want It That Way,” with its glossy textures and triumphant chorus, set the standard for the genre’s anthems; “Larger Than Life” balances a killer hook with gratitude to the group’s fans; and ballads like “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely” and “Back to Your Heart” showcase the quintet’s sparkling harmonies and sweet romanticism.

Remember them! I love them and can still sing thewhole album except now it must be done in private and not in the car with the windows down.

I Want It Their Way!

There's a reason why VH1 listed "I Want It That Way" among the top ten hits of all time. It's one amazing song, sung by five amazing men. It will forever be a classic. Long live the Backstreet Boys! (Oh, and the rest of this album is pretty fantastic as well.)
