Hidden gem

Surprisingly fresh to be from 2012. Just stumbled upon it and now it’s on repeat. No cliches, feels all original heartfelt.

This album forced me to write my first review. Grandiose and magical, this is the soundtrack for a voyage through an enchanted wilderness. It’s big and emotional, not as raw as fleet foxes and not at refined as M83. This falls in a perfect balance between the two. One of my favorite albums, and a pleasure to listen to.

The Start of Something Beautiful

Lonesome Dreams is the beginning of one of the best bands in the universe. Gets better and better with each listen. I can feel the emotion and soul that Ben Schneider put into this. Drummer Mark Barry unleashes his creativity on this record and it’s absolutely; such an underrated drummer. This album is full of unforgettable melodies and the guitar work as well as vocals are heartwarming as always. This is a must-have!
