EDITORS’ NOTES

Block B have never been a group to play it safe on the K-pop scene, and Montage pastes together a slew of influences to highlight the septet's love for musical experimentation. The mix of funk-guitar riffs and trap beats in "My Zone" starts things strong, "Shall We Dance" incorporates energizing falsetto croons and grating-yet-satisfying electric guitar, and "One Way" is a bubbly swirl of ska and hip-hop. Even when the guys deliver the curveball piano ballad "Like This," it only further highlights their versatility.

Never disappoint

Happy to see B return to their older sound with Shall We Dance, while also touching their softer side throughout the EP. Great mini album 😎
