EDITORS’ NOTES

Anjunabeats darling Mat Zo steps out on his Mad Zoo label with a beautifully structured journey through various dance music BPMs, each anchored by masterful textures and arms-wide-open melodies. Self Assemble spans sunny disco-pop, cute UK garage, unusual dubstep, and some surprising big-room heaters. But he’s never more compelling than on Hollywood blockbuster-ready cinematic interludes like "Order Out of Chaos" and "Patterns Emerging," which strip away Zo’s customary EDM blast beats to reveal hidden artistic depths.

Mat Zo is his own genre...

He has such an awareness for music production and his albums always flow very well! Different styles in every song and makes you want to listen to the whole album over and over!

Something for everyone

Wide range of different sounds. I personally liked Too Late the most.
