Metal with Meaning

This band never disappoints. I've been a fan for a while now, having first discovered them on tour with Born of Osiris, then later with Drowning Pool. They write music about real issues, music that stays in my head even when I'm not listening to it. This album is an evolution from their last one, they seem to have focused more upon vocal harmonies and song melodies than pure aggression, although some of the so gs are quite aggressive. My favorites are Broken, Ride or Die, NightCrawler, Falling Away and Sugar and Spice. Their cover of Shameless by The Weeknd is amazing, and while I'm not a fan of his singing style, this version is mind blowing. I'm going to be listening to this album nonstop for months!

New favorite band

I always thought metalcore was just a bunch of screaming but this band has made me a fan of the genre. This album ranges in sound so much that they offer something for all fans of the metal genre. Powercore is not just how they label themselves, it is a whole new genre that they are bringing to life. This album is in regular rotation on my car stereo and iPod and I dont see that changing anytime soon. Preview the tracks and see for yourself.

Very good!

They just keep getting better, and their other stuff is legit to begin with.
