Yet Another Great Album

As with the previous two albums, I can listen to this the whole way through without skipping or getting bored. I can't say that for many albums. Yes, they have somewhat changed their style. No, it is not in any way for the worse. Since the first album, they have gradually shifted from punk revival to hard-edged rock. If this upsets you, keep in mind: they make music to satisfy themselves primarily, and fans secondarily. If this is how they want to sound, no one can tell them to change. Getting people to follow them is just a by-product of the sound they create. Making music the way others tell them to would defeat the purpose.

Anyway, some great tracks include Saint Veronika, The Dead Can't Testify, Definition of Destiny, and Devil on my Shoulder, although they are all VERY strong songs.

This album is a grower. It takes a while, but after listening to it for awhile, you can't help but enjoy it. See for yourself. I did, and it solidified Billy Talent as one of my favorite band, if not my absolute favorite.

Pretty Awesome!

Billy Talent do it again. More catchy songs. The lyrics are little darker this time but very powerful if you think deeply about the songs meaning(s). I love the albums message, with Definition of Destiny making you think about what has been said. My top favorites are Saint Veronika, Definition Of Destiny, The Dead Can't Testify, Devil On My Shoulder and Tears Into Wine. My only complaint is that I wish they had the two bonus songs on here Don't Need To Pretend and Bloody Nails & Broken Hearts (This one is amazing....a must listen). If you liked the the last two albums then you'll like this one too. Pick this one up.

Slightly mellow...for Billy Talent

Billy Talent III lends to an amazing trilogy. This album feels a bit mellow compared to I and II, but that's not a bad thing! It's an auto-buy for Billy Talent fans. Newcomers should first listen to the other albums.
