EDITORS’ NOTES

For their sixth studio album, Ritual, In This Moment rip up their sonic rulebook to explore new velvet-draped hard-rock vistas. On "Oh Lord," Maria Brink’s vocals drip with a hypnotic, bluesy drawl, while “Witching Hour” hews toward synth-spun gothic rock. They even get an assist from glam-metal icon Rob Halford of Judas Priest, who contributes ferocious guest vocals to the swinging vaudeville thrasher “Black Wedding.”

Huge ITM fan but not this album

Maybe just my opinion but it's just dull and not very good. This is based off entire album and not the previews. I downloaded it from somewhere else and I'm pretty disappointed. Super toned down and dull.

I love itm and all the other stuff they have but just not a fan of this one. Hope this isn't the new direction of their music.

Metal's answer to Lady Gaga

What started over ten years ago as a promising melodic metalcore has descended into a Rob Zombie/Lady Gaga wannabe. Harsh vocals and good riffs have been replaced mediocre pop rock. It's been on the downhill since Blood. Fans with no taste flock to these bands. Sorry y'all you lost an original fan with this album.

Ok at best!!

Sounds to techno I guess is the only way to explain it... Listened to it a few times and I could hum one guitar riff if I had to. Get rid of the computer/keyboard and plug the guitar back in please.
